Café Co-op is a unique eatery located in the UConn Co-op serving fresh made egg sandwiches, hand crafted salads, sandwiches, wraps and paninis. The Café Co-op also serves a delicious variety of coffees, teas, espresso, specialty drinks and desserts.

Features

Bao, $1.50 Ea.
Steamed Asian Buns filled with meat or vegetables. It can be eaten at any meal in Chinese culture, and is often eaten for breakfast.

Beef Pho, $3.00
Clear beef broth, served with noodles, and thin cuts of beef.

Pho means 'Your Own Bowl' -- That is, something that you garnish and eat individually, not to be shared.

Pronunciation: The Vietnamese word "pho" is properly pronounced with a falling-rising tone, as if asking a question. Its final vowel is not a long "o," but instead rhymes (in English) with the "u" in the English word "but." The "ph" is pronounced as an "f." The resulting pronunciation sounds like "fuh?"
